Total Back Stretch 1

This is an excellent exercise for your lower back that also engages your shoulder muscles. Be sure to keep your knees slightly wider than your heels when positioning yourself. To get a deeper stretch, you can extend your hands to the left side and right side.

Step 1

Kneeling on a mat and sitting back on your heels, reach your hands forward and drop your head toward the mat. Keep your palms on the mat, chin tucked toward your chest, and chest facing down toward the mat. Hold for 30-60 seconds.
