The standing crunch is a good exercise for anyone who doesn’t want to or can’t lie on the ground. As with any core exercise, remember to bring your stomach towards your spine and to maintain steady breathing throughout the exercise.
Step By Step Instructions
Stand with your hands behind your head.
Swing one knee out to the side of your body and then lift it as you drive your elbow towards it. Return to your start position and repeat the exercise with your opposite knee and elbow. Focus on looking straight ahead and not straining your neck as you complete your repetitions.
